1. Agreement to these terms

By using the Austin Polished Concrete Floors website you agree to these terms and to applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Services

Austin Polished Concrete Floors provides concrete flooring services in Austin, TX and confirmed surrounding communities, including:

• Mechanical polished concrete (grinding, honing, polishing, densification)
• Residential polished concrete for remodels and new construction
• Commercial polished concrete for retail, office, and warehouse spaces
• Epoxy floor coating systems over prepared concrete
• Concrete overlays and resurfacing, including polishable overlays

Availability of any specific system depends on the condition of your slab, the intended use of the space, and our assessment of whether it is a suitable approach.

3. Information on this website

The guides, service pages, and other content here are general information written to help you make a decision. They are not a specification for your floor and not a substitute for an on-site assessment. Concrete varies, and outcomes depend on your particular slab. Where a structural issue may be present, a qualified structural review should come before any finishing work.

4. Quotes, estimates, and pricing

Prices are quoted in USD per project after we assess the floor. We do not publish flat per-square-foot rates, because preparation, repairs, edge work, access, finish specification, treatments, and phasing all change the scope. A written quote states its inclusions and exclusions and whether figures are a quote or an estimate. Estimates may change if conditions found during the work differ from those assessed.

5. Scheduling and cancellation

Work is scheduled by agreement. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so the crew can be redirected. Late cancellations may incur a charge where mobilisation costs have already been incurred. Weather, site access, incomplete preparation by others, and delays by other trades can affect the schedule.

6. Site conditions and customer responsibilities

• Clear access to the work area, including furniture removal unless otherwise agreed
• Available power and water as specified for the equipment in use
• Disclosure of known slab issues, in-slab services, prior coatings, and repairs
• Keeping people and pets out of the active work zone
• Protecting the finished floor from other trades after handover, where relevant

7. Results and expectations

Polished concrete is a natural material finished mechanically. Colour variation, aggregate distribution, visible repairs, trowel history, and existing cracks are characteristics of the slab, not defects in the work. We agree appearance against a sample or mockup before starting. We do not represent any floor as stain-proof, slip-proof, maintenance-free, or crack-free, and we do not guarantee that a specific grit sequence will reproduce a particular photograph.

8. Warranty terms

Any warranty applicable to your project is set out in your written scope and covers the workmanship and systems described there. It does not cover damage from misuse, unsuitable cleaning products, impact, structural movement, or work performed by others. Manufacturer warranties for specified products, where they apply, are passed through on their own terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Austin Polished Concrete Floors is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this website or of our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Intellectual property

The text, guides, layout, and graphics on this site are the property of Austin Polished Concrete Floors and are protected by copyright. You may share links freely; please do not republish the content as your own.
